Madison Choral Project: "Privilege"

“Our world is increasingly complicated, and we seek to provide voices exploring important emotional and social concerns of today.” -- Bert Pinsonneault

This past weekend, the Madison Choral Project presented our final concert for the season, entitled "Privilege." This beautiful and thought-provoking program explored some of today's most pressing social issues--the image of the female body, the marginalization of groups within society, and economic inequality, to name a few--through the lens of contemporary choral composers.

If you missed the concerts this weekend, check out these articles featuring commentary from MCP's director, Bert Pinsonneault, and 2016-2017 Composer-in-Residence, D. Jasper Sussman.
